About Historic Plaster Conservation Services
In 1988, Historic Plaster Conservation Services (HPCS) was formed to pursue opportunities in the very specific field of plaster conservation and to further the work of the late Morgan W. Phillips, a material scientist who initiated the development of these procedures while working for the U.S. National Park Service. This Web site is dedicated to his memory.Rod Stewart is sole owner of Historic Plaster Conservation Services. He has worked in the building restoration field for over twenty years.
Historic Plaster Conservation Services is constantly on the lookout for opportunities to experiment with techniques that will extend the useful life of plasters and stuccos.
